The Witcher season 1 was an outstanding hit for Netflix series as it packed a great storyline and cast members. Now directors are looking to work on season 2 of The Witcher, but the release date and cast members are not confirmed yet. According to the reports, The Witcher season 2 might arrive in 2021, but currently, it’s not confirmed yet. Cast member and release date of The Witcher season 2 is currently on working, but there are some announcements that every fan should know about.

Netflix has announced that they will start working on The Witcher season 2 in early 2020, and no doubt, they have confirmed some new cast members for the new season. It’s a great show that the numerous number of fans are waiting for. The previous season ended significantly when Geralt and Ciri finally meet together in the last, but furthermore, they have to save Yennefer that will be shown in the new season. The cast of The Witcher season 2 is confirmed, and there are some new faces that viewers will get to see.

Confirmed Cast Members of The Witcher Season 2

In the first season, most of the cast members are dead, and as expected, they will not be back in the next season. However, in the new season, there will be new foes and friends that will keep the story on going. Among the whole batch of characters, Geralt (Henry Cavill), Ciri (Freya Allan), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) will return because they are a major part of the story, also all three are connected. From the reports, “Violet” will be played to be a young girl who is intelligent and barbarous character. Violet is a different character, which neither exists in the books nor available in the game, although seeing her character will be an exciting thing.

Story of The Witcher Season 2

The Witcher season 2 story will be solid and much straightforward, although, from the ending of season 1, it’s clear that Geralt will be going to save Yennefer. The story in season 2 will focus on the relationship between the two characters that separated in season 1. From the books, there are many more things that added, and whoever reads the books correctly, they know what kind of situations will be made in season 2.

Now that Geralt and Ciri are together now, they will be headed to the Kaer Morhen, which is an ancient place of witchers. There they will look for a converted human beast whose name is Nivellen. He is a cursed monster that turned from the human. The role of Nivellen will be played by a popular actor Kristofer Hivju who was Tormund Giantsbane from a famous series Game of Thrones. Geralt after fighting for decades and finding Ciri, he finally able to find her daughter (Ciri) present from the Law of Surprise.
